Selecting your PACTA
Bottle location – by Safety and Ergonomical
Requirements
Occupational health injuries must be prevented during manual materials
handling. With PACTA, no heavy lifts are needed. No harmful liquids
need handling above eye level.
The height of the LC-stack determines our recommendation of PACTA
type: LC-Basic with bottles above stack, or LC-Fly with bottles next to
stack. Choose LC-Fly when bottom of bottles go higher than 1350 mm,
i.e. when height of LC-stack is higher than 830 mm.
Personal safety is paramount. Exposure to harmful substances, gasses
and vapours, must be avoided. Both PACTA LC-Basic and LC-Fly effectively
ventilates bottle drawer and waste bin. Low air flow generates alarm.
Cabinet width – by LC System Requirements
The width of the LC-stack determines the width of the PACTA cabinet. The
LC-stack has a physical width, and the System Preparation guide defines
a minimum respect distance.
Consider system flexibility. If sample organizers or ovens may be
acquired later on, the cabinet should be prepared for such choice.
Overview/Housekeeping
PACTA is focus and simplicity. The LC-system is accessible at all times, and
all functions are easy to overview.
PACTA provides sufficient and well-organized space for housekeeping. It
is easy to clean and keep tidy.
The LC-Fly has more features: tool drawer with top plate for tablet;
drawer for solid waste, space for commodities above upper bottle
drawer.
Height adjustability – when ergonomics have priority
PACTA comes socket mounted and height adjustable. When socket
mounted, the bottom part of the LC-system is placed app. 450 mm above
the floor. To avoid bent back during service and prepartion, e.g. pump
cleaning and system preparation, choose a height adjustable PACTA.
