FIRE AND RADIATION SHIELDED CABINETS
The requirements for fire and radiation shielded cabinets
have intensified, demands are high for both free-standing cabinets, niche-cabinets and cabinets for pass-through between corridor and adjoining treatment rooms.
Zystm’s programme of pass-through cabinets and fire/
lead cabinets has been developed in collaboration with
several architects, users and The Danish Institute of Fire
and Security Technology (DBI). The cabinets are tested
and approved by DBI, but should always be approved by
the local fire authority, or radiation-hygienic institute.
The programme includes cabinets which conform to both
BD30 and BD60 requirements. Both cabinet models can
be radiation shielded to comply with the requirements
for scanner and X-ray areas from the Radiation Hygienic
Institute. The cupboards are mainly used in sterile areas,
surgical and anesthesia areas, X-ray and scanning areas,
cytostatics and cleanroom areas. Fireproof safes come with inlaid paste in the
door. Door closers are optional, and you must be sure to
specify these separately.
